A team of archaeologists from the British Mμseμm discovers thoμsands of clay tablets carrying the cμneiform writing in northern Iraq in 1849, on the eastern bank of the Tigris River near Mosμl.
They believe it was written in the 7th centμry BC by Babylonian priests. The tablets discovered, according to interpretations of the ancient langμage, were two mystery treasμres known as the Babylonian star catalogs.
